The Surf FIlm Archive - Featuring Headland at The J, Noosa

The Surf Film Archive featuring a live score from Headland Band is coming back to the big screen on the 11th of March at the J in Noosa. This is the third time we have done this collaboration with Headland and each time we’ve kicked it up a notch! This time round we are taking over The J in Noosa for a night as part of the Noosa Festival of Surfing. Don’t miss it, its going to be our biggest and loudest show yet.

The Surf Film Archive - Featuring Headland is a live extravaganza. The best of the surf film archive, beautifully restored, including some never-before -seen footage from the greats such as Bob Evans, George Greenough, Andy McAlpine, Paul Witzig, Phil Sheppard and Dick Hoole.

All proceeds from the show go directly back into our efforts to save the films and ensure they can be enjoyed for generations to come.

Enjoy a short clip from our full-house Byron Theatre show below. Someone even ended up walking home with a fresh Morning Of The Earth mid-length hand shaped by Simon Jones. We say walked, but we’re pretty sure we saw him running to his car as the punters tried to bid on the board.

Keep your eyes peeled for some sweet giveaways on offer at this show!
